What I've done, & it works faster than the others, is to move ALL images that I want to scan (even as just copies) into ONE folder, then use the File Explorer or the browser FastStone or another browser, to sort the images by whatever criteria that works best, say File Name or Creation Date & that will put MOST files that are the same beside each other.
I'd like to identify and delete duplicate image files across multiple drives as inexpensively as possible.īased on my experience with this in the past & trying a bunch of "duplicate" file finder programs, I've found that just using Windows File Explorer & a free Browser like FastStone (or even FastStone alone) works better than specialized duplicate finding programs.
